Our history
2020health.org was formed at the end of 2006 by Julia Manning with the support of health professionals and stakeholders in healthcare. Right from the start the aim was to enable ‘the grassroots’ to develop and influence policy based on their knowledge and expertise. Capturing front line experience as a primary source of ideas remains the core means by which we aim improve healthcare in the UK. After 19 years in the NHS, Julia left to work full-time with 2020health at the end of 2009.
