In the new year we will be holding a round-table discussion on ‘Ageing’. We hope to examine society’s fear of dying, rejection of ageing and appearance of age / anti-ageing, the increased medicalisation of ageing, status of being a child lasting longer, cosmetic surgery and treatments, longevity and emerging technologies (nano, bio, genetics, robotics), alzheimers, etc.
