+ ORGAN TRAFFICKING

Increasing numbers of UK citizens are travelling abroad for a transplant operation. We surveyed all transplant units and the BTA on the number of and locations that people are travelling too. Building on this information we will be investigating the sources, the problems and suggesting solutions to stem the increasing sale and stealing of organs in the developing world.
