Previous Conferences

2020health was active at both the Conservative and Labour Party conferences in 2009. The Labour Party Conference 2009 in Brighton saw a 2020health event on Responsibility in Healthcare the outcome of which informed our responsibility report. The Conservative Party Conference 2009 hosted the same event as well as discussions on Future Technology, Access to Treatment and a dinner event on Pandemic Flu.

Dr Phil Hammond has been amongst our honored attendees and kindly chaired our previous events on responsibility in healthcare. Our other past panellists have included Dr Doug Naysmith MP, Stephen O’Brien MP, the then King’s Fund CEO Niall Dickson, LSE’s Professor Julian Le Grand and 2020health CEO Julia Manning.
